Who we are

The HVAC Load app and this website are run by Yassine Rajallah, Berlin, Germany. Contact: support@hvacloadcalculator.app. By using the app or the website, you agree to these terms.

What the app and the tools do

HVAC Load estimates the heating and cooling load of a building. It also has tools for duct sizes, airflow and unit conversion. The free calculators on this website do the same kind of math in your browser.

Subscription

  • The app is free to download. Full use needs a subscription, which may start with a free trial. The App Store shows the price and the trial before you buy.
  • Apple bills the subscription to your Apple ID.
  • It renews on its own until you cancel it. To cancel, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, pick HVAC Load and tap Cancel. Apple's rules say to cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next charge.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its rules.
  • "Restore purchases" in the app Settings brings your subscription back on a new phone.
  • Apple's standard license terms for apps also apply to the app.

The results are estimates

An estimate in the style of ACCA Manual J. It does not replace a certified room by room design. Manual J is a trademark of ACCA. HVAC Load is not affiliated with ACCA.

The results are for sizing. They are not engineering advice. Weather data, insulation values and equipment ranges are typical values and can be wrong for a given building. You are responsible for checking the numbers, for following your local code and for what you decide to install or sell.

No warranty

The app and the website are provided as they are. We do not promise that they are free of errors, that results are right for your building or that the service will always be available.

Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using the app, the website or the results, including a wrongly sized system. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for harm to life, body or health, or for intent.

Your content

Your jobs, client details and logo are yours. They stay on your phone. You are responsible for having the right to use any logo or client details you put into a report.

Fair use

Do not copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, and do not use it in a way that breaks the law.

Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept it.

Law

German law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live still apply to you.
